Who is the event for?
This open house is for anyone who sees their future in mathematical and computational modelling, big data analysis, and the use of visualization and virtual reality to solve complex interdisciplinary problems, including the development of decision support systems.
It is for those who have completed their undergraduate studies in the fundamental sciences, and are interested in continuing their education in the most cutting-edge areas of IT.

What to expect
The open house will include presentations on our four Master’s programs:
Staff will share information on the academic and research environment of the department.
The directors of the different research groups will give an overview of their fields, and some of the results they have achieved during their research, including video and computer application demonstrations.
Potential employers will also participate in the event (including the IT Company, Inc. http://www.it.ru/ ) to discuss work opportunities for our graduates.
Master’s and PhD students who are studying at the HPC Department will share their personal experience with study and research work, including their participation in international projects, conferences, and workshops.
After the open house you will have a chance to speak one-on-one with students and staff from the HPC Department, and employees of the eScience Research Institute at
