Lecture by Carlos Gershenson, Autonomous University of Mexico

The researcher will address the issues of megapolises that can be solved with computer technologies. From transport mobility to logistics, telecommunications, safety, sustainable development and forming urban communities - all these problems can be solved with the intelligent technology approach. The lecture will demonstrate some of the examples of this approach in transport issues.

Dr. Gershenson is a full time researcher at the Computer Sciences Department of the Instituto de Investigaciones en Matemáticas Aplicadas y en Sistemas (IIMAS) of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). He's also a researcher at the Centro de Ciencias de la Complejidad (C3) of the UNAM.
